Hand Painted Kitchen

Hand Painted Kitchen

Mr Muncey and his wife approached the Sevenoaks painting company regarding their kitchen. As you can see from the before and after pictures of this project, the transformation was dramatic. Please read the testimonial sent to us from Mr Muncey after completion.

After 17 years of family use, our kitchen was looking more than a bit tired. However, the units themselves (solid wood doors, Shaker style) were still in good condition. So rather than rip everything out and start again, we got new appliances, had the granite surfaces treated and the wood floor sanded and resealed. But by far the biggest impact was having Russell paint all the units, ceilings and walls.  The base units are now a deep Breton Blue and the wall units are Porcelain White. Russell helped us plan exactly what was going to happen and his suggestions were always practical, helpful and technically spot on. He was tidy, careful, reliable and easy company to have around for the week he was here. Inevitably we made a few minor changes along the way, which Russell accommodated without hesitation.

As a result, we effectively have a new kitchen that not only looks fantastic but cost less than the original did all those years ago.  It’s also the first time in over 30 years of home ownership that we have ever paid anyone to do any painting and we would whole heartedly recommend Russell for this type of work.

Before

This kitchen and w/c were painted in cream giving a traditional cottage feel. Light grey walls and a darker, contrasting grey for the woodwork gave a very contemporary appearance to the whole project.

Painted Decking

Painted Decking

Here you can clearly see the before and after effects of painting decking. This tired section required jetwashing, the a Zinsser primer and finally 3 coats of non slip decking paint. It honestly did look like new when finished.

Painted Sash Windows

Painted Sash Windows

This is a very pretty cottage in central Sevenoaks with ornate sash windows. We painted them with the Dulux Weathershield paint system and they are now protected for up to 8 years.

Exterior House Painting

Exterior House Painting

This complete house was a large external project carried out in central Sevenoaks during the summer. Fascia boards, soffits and windows underwent fairly extensive preparation before the complete 3 stage Dulux Weathershield system was applied. The masonry was fungicidally washed and the colour chosen by the client from the fan charts was the perfect contrast to the white stonework.

Painted Conservatory

Painted Conservatory

Conservatories are generally fully exposed to all weather conditions making maintenance important to up keep if they are made of timber. As you can see from the photos below we offer various colours and finishes to achieve desired effects. However, we have undertaken several jobs where the client requested faded upvc to be painted, giving the conservatory and new lease of life.

Bungalow Exterior Painting

Bungalow Exterior Painting

Here the client wanted to blend the brick bungalow with the main house. A colour matched masonry paint was applied directly onto the brickwork and changing the colour of the white upvc windows worked incredibly well
